Louis Saha

Ex-professional footballer, co-founder and director of online professional sports platform Axis Stars

Louis Saha is a retired French striker.

Louis spent the 1996/1997 season in the youth team of Metz. After he graduated from the club’s academy, Saha joined the main team and performed there during two years. The footballer has a long list of top-flight clubs he played for, like Fulham, Newcastle United, Everton and Manchester United.

Louis has a whole clutch of honours, which include the holder of the FA Cup and the Football League Cup, the winner of the 2007/2008 Champions League, the champion of the Football League First Division and twice the champion of the Barclays Premier League.

On 5 February 2011, Saha became the second Frenchman (after Thierry Henry), who managed to net four goals in a single Premier League match. After a long run with Everton Louis had spells with Tottenham Hotspur, Sunderland and finally joined Lazio in 2013.

Half a year later Louis announced his retirement from professional football.

From 2004, the footballer was capped 20 times and contributed four goals for the France national team.
